Brand Switzerland

In substance and from a visual point of view, Brand Switzerland as defined by FDFA, Presence Switzerland, is the basis of Switzerland's communication abroad.

The definition of Brand Switzerland has three aspects:

 core messages

 tonality

 appearance

Brand Communication Brand Communication Leistungen Werte & Charakter Visuelle Erscheinung

Why is the definition of Brand Switzerland necessary?

A focused and strong brand definition is necessary for a successful positioning in the international market. This enables Switzerland to benefit a unique market position that distinguishes it from other countries abroad and attempts to close the gap between Switzerland’s image abroad and at home.

Use of Brand Switzerland

Brand Switzerland must be used for all projects funded by FDFA, Presence Switzerland. Its use by partner organisations (Osec, Switzerland Tourism, Pro Helvetia, etc.) is compulsory only for major international events and projects managed by Presence Switzerland.

The core messages, the tonality and the appearance of Switzerland are described in the Corporate Identity Manual Switzerland.
